Conservatism in government will not save America. Only good Christian morality in the public square is capable of delivering us from our just punishments for our sins. The conservatism that Rush and Hannity are describing is a direct result, a direct offshoot of Christian public square morality.
It is essentially an economic offshoot of the Christian faith which was a direct result of the application of Christian morality in the public square; Christian morality that has been traditional in America for hundreds of years up until 1954.
It was at that time that Lyndon B Johnson and his senate cohorts overturned the relationship between a free speaking American Christian church, which was not afraid to offend those who govern nor afraid of the government. They overturned that relationship by appearing to put restrictions on a largely sleeping Christian church.
Our churches then rushed to conform to the new government IRS regulations without praying about whether or not they were actually putting a gag on GOD’S free speech; which is what has occurred. None of the churches apparently took the time to consider whether or not they even were required to obtain 501 C 3 status, which indeed no church is required to obtain. They are not obligated to obtain such status because they already have constitutional protections which cannot be abrogated by anyone, anywhere.
As a direct result of that gagging or prohibiting of what has come to be termed political speech, from our pulpits, we are all suffering the public square social ramifications. Our politicians today fear neither GOD nor man and it shows in their treatment of us and how they have elevated themselves above the rest of us by bestowing upon themselves many benefits that they are not capable nor willing to share with all of the rest of us.
Our representatives do not consider GOD’S views on hardly anything at all anymore. They are not willing to be used by GOD to speak to us nor to each other, but continually speak in generic terms about all issues affecting us and our families and the security of our nation. Essentially the IRS rules have not only gagged our GOD speaking through us but they have also tended to gag our representatives in the public square.
Just today on his daily radio program Rush slipped and admitted exactly what I am saying. He went on about how good public morals were the only thing that would save us, our faith in GOD and the acting out of that faith in the public square.
Today Rush was exactly correct
